My work explores the cognitive forces behind artistic creation, challenging assumptions about what is necessary or relevant in the process. My paintings evolve through layered methods, each stage engaging with control, intention, and chance. Each work reflects on authorship, the role of accident, and decision-making. I primarily use oil and acrylic, alongside spray paint, oil sticks, and paint markers to build diverse textures and effects. The "reStructure" series of paintings, including "inFinite Mirror 1", reflects the intensity of the mind’s inner conflicts, where instinct meets deliberation, control negotiates with automatism, and decision intersects with habit.
