I painted this work after having a spat with my boyfriend over whether the cat should be allowed at the dinner table. It depicts the moment before the argument began - the woman fixated on her cat and the cat confronting the viewer, aware that he has overstayed his welcome.
It is currently unframed but will be framed by early April.
